Fina is a handwriting typeface based on the natural script of my grandmother, Josefina—known to everyone simply as Fina. This first version captures the warmth and elegance of her writing: almost drawn rather than written, full of flourishes, especially in the uppercase letters.
She loved to cook and kept handwritten recipe catalogs that became the foundation of this typeface. The process involved scanning, tracing, refining, and adjusting her letters with care—transforming her pen strokes into a digital homage.
