Each character was painted by hand using a roller and white paint, embracing texture, irregularity, and the marks of the gesture itself. The design captures the tension between control and spontaneity, preserving the raw energy of the brush while translating it into a functional digital typeface. Its forms are bold, expressive, and intentionally imperfect, allowing the material qualities of the process to remain visible. Rush includes 188 glyphs and has been carefully digitized to balance expressiveness with usability.
